I'm glad you brought that up. Cause I've been wanting to talk about this for a minute. Wing places down here don't actually have lemon pepper wet. It was a joke from "Atlanta". If you go somewhere like American Deli and ask for lemon pepper wet it's going to be either a mild sauce or a mustard based sauce with lemon pepper flakes in it. The closest anyone down here does to lemon pepper wet is LP/Hot extra sauce. All I'm really saying is prior to 2018 this wasn't a thing until the show.

I googled for results prior to the Atlanta episode and there’s barely anything about lemon pepper wet. I could’ve sworn I’d seen someone reference Atlanta’s affinity for them before the show did but now I’m second guessing that. Mandela effect on wings 🤔🤔🤔

I just been wanting to get that off my chest for a minute. Cause my homeboy I grew up with tried to tell me we used to get Lemon pepper wet as kids and I'm convinced he's let this show gaslight him. I lived in Stone Mountain, Lithonia, Atlanta for numerous years and eaten a lot of wings from your mom and pop spots to, Atlanta's best wings (ABW), American Deli and J.R Crickets was literally right next to my house there has never been lemon pepper wet. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

Old JR Cricket's menu. No mention of wet. You could get "Swimmin" wings but you can't swim lemon pepper cause it's a dry rub.
