edit: jk lmfso took two bites of the pie and that s*** was kinda regret trying it cause now i just wanna finish it tonite but i shouldn’t.

both cookies tasted really good but they had a grainy texture to it prolly cause she not using a traditional flour blend to bake these. good enough to get once in a while but def don’t need them every visit.

the grape galette wasn’t for me. loved everything about it except the cheese. that s*** had a really funky aftertaste.

I think he's moving to NY this summer but I'm trying to make a big California trip later this year (trying to be out there for a month starting south and moving north from there) and I know his family and it's important to him for me to see where he grew up - because he doesn't f*** with it - so I'm sure we can line up a time when he's back visiting family

all their foods rly good!!!!!!
the janchi guksoo is the only one id skip, its v light n therefore not super exciting ig. its the equiv of plain soba to me LOL

bossam also rly stood out to me, it was super flavorful n wasnt dry at all

chashu pork from dim sum sam--p good tbh. only complaint is of my own doing -- theres a rice bowl option but i accidentally got [ork only instead so stole my friends brown rice from her lunch in exchange for some of my pork since no one else got rice for lunch
and chashu w brown rice just doesnt go
it just rly rly does not go

made kimchi jjigae since i realized i have a lunatic qty of kimchi in my fridge
we're talking
2 partially eaten 32 oz containers and 1 half eaten 16 oz container all from diff spots

hunan slurp for hunan style mixian (thinner round rice noodles)
one of them is pickled long bean (rly sim to green beans just longer lol) n pork
the other is like ground pork sauce w mickled mstard greens, douhua (extra extra soft tofu, softest u can get), cucumber, etc
i liked both
the douhua one a;most tasted like jajamian
also got the fried tofu n wintermelon dishes as sides
overall pretty nice easy lunch.
will say it was one guy running the whole resto so it was a slightly slow to order n get check n all that but dude was hustling fr so it rly wasnt bad at all. u just wont be in n out in 20 min
