it’s good very chocolately but i prolly wouldn’t get it again. also nothing like an actual buche but kinda wish it was. def prefer that kinda swiss roll type cake over this kind. this one is a lot of different types of creams and like a thick piece of crust on the bottom and like a sliver of cake in the middle.

Pizza from scratch

Cookies and bark for Santa (also made some snickerdoodle cookies and then white choc and strawberry bark just no pics :/)



christmas eve/ xmas dinner:
charcuterie board w prosciutto, mostarda, crackers, white strawbs, and burrata topped w crushed pistachio and marjora
roasted chestnuts

Overall thoughts: sweet potato pave was rly tricky, i dont think it rly works paved bc sweet potatoes are just so watery and unstarchy compared to reg potato. 1/4 of the batch i started fell apart and i discarded. Stick to reg potato pave.
Spring roll wrapper recipe didnt rly work for me that well either but lumpia were good. Similarly 1/4 of the dough i started with ended up in some way shape or form a flop and got discarded
Pork was great, i wish the instructions were clearer, happy to add details on what i did if anyone makes thjs
