Try watching any movie on a 480p CRT from 1995, then watching it again in 4K and tell me it's the same as watching it properly the first time.

newsflash: people have their own preferences that you might not always understand. doesn't have to be as complicated as you're making it
i would hold off on listening to demos for ANY project by any artist i was seriously anticipating, not just kanye. if anything it's yall who hold up kanye/DONDA up to some sacred standard treating the LP like they're some religious experience that you cant skip or youre some kinda p**** wtf
some people just wanna get really stoned and hear the CD HQ version for that first listen when they don't know what any of the s*** sounds like

I know people have that preference and that's fine. I'm just calling out the circlejerk attitude of acting like CDQ only is a superior experience or that it would add nothing to peep the stream. It's just hipsterism. That's it. There are pros and cons to both.
