Lil Wayne fan is real generous

they use him as a prop to appear like they’re into hip-hop more than they actually are, there’s like a handful of actual fans on here max

I f*** with Wayne personally and Wayne a fake blood to no one cares.

I agree global blackness versus Americanized blackness. It's expectations and rationalizations.

uplifting doesn't mean political reform lol. This is clearly socially conscious music that has a real impact on people who are passionate about real world causes that impact the black community.

Meanwhile, Drake got white teens making cringe "keke do you love me" tik toks.

yes. Drake spent the same amount of time working and sacrificing to whatever degree he made sacrifices (walking away from Degrassi as his primary maybe only income at the time to pursue music) just like a Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole.

nigga you know how privileged you gotta be to be a teen actor on Nickelodeon in the first place?

yeah he wasn’t an a-list at the time or star but he was still doing well

A lot of his peers and people he tries to emulate grew up in the projects

Music is informed by the real world. You got it twisted.
Like I said, Kendrick is inspired by his environment and his community and thats why he makes the music he makes. He's not looking to change the world. His music is a reflection of his reality.

Drake only care about his brand. Nothing else.

lmao so working hard and sacrificing is exclusive only to the black community? Is that why white teens are making Tik Toks to all his dance bait tracks?

its got nothing to do with mind reading, its just pretty obvious that Kendrick is making the music that has defined hip hop since its inception while Drake just hopping on popular hip hop trends when it benefits him, like when he started working with all the Atlanta rappers and started acting like a mob boss after years of being known as a simp

Mans could have avoided so much trouble if he just stayed in his melodic Canadian lover boy bag I mean he would still have the character problems of being weird about girls but main point is his opps would have had less ammunition to gun him down

What is the “street facade” you’re referring to, or what era?
