Lil Wayne fan is real generous
they use him as a prop to appear like they’re into hip-hop more than they actually are, there’s like a handful of actual fans on here max
I f*** with Wayne personally and Wayne a fake blood to no one cares.
i hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are black people outside the united states
you think african american culture is the only black culture in the world? 😂
yeah those black people outside the U.S usually don’t view African American culture very fondly

I agree global blackness versus Americanized blackness. It's expectations and rationalizations.
it's a song black folks still f***ed to this day in America among other groups. Laws is what changes things war assassination's revolutions. no one and i mean no one song is actually changing the world maybe it could inspire but people been saying that about pac since before he died and black folks still f***ed among other groups.
uplifting doesn't mean political reform lol. This is clearly socially conscious music that has a real impact on people who are passionate about real world causes that impact the black community.
Meanwhile, Drake got white teens making cringe "keke do you love me" tik toks.

Stop looking for music or rappers to change the world enjoy or turn it off brother. If you need a jam to want to make a difference don't, your heart was never in it.
yes. Drake spent the same amount of time working and sacrificing to whatever degree he made sacrifices (walking away from Degrassi as his primary maybe only income at the time to pursue music) just like a Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole.
nigga you know how privileged you gotta be to be a teen actor on Nickelodeon in the first place?
yeah he wasn’t an a-list at the time or star but he was still doing well
A lot of his peers and people he tries to emulate grew up in the projects
reaching like Halo on this

Music is informed by the real world. You got it twisted.
Like I said, Kendrick is inspired by his environment and his community and thats why he makes the music he makes. He's not looking to change the world. His music is a reflection of his reality.
Drake only care about his brand. Nothing else.
is this a real post
that’s slot of cope, and even if it was true. Living underprivileged, lower clsss, whatever you want to call it doesn’t automatically mean you’re in the streets like that

lowkey got some racial undertones to even imply that it is

yeah being actor at the age of 14 is a real privilege. there is no work that gets you the job you just wake up and get yourself an acting job. im reaching because i know 50k a year before taxes while paying house bills / helping your mom with meds / paying for rap s*** on the side isn't some crazy pile of money. i call it math.

It's crazy how you can mind read but Kenny & Drake.
You know how they think and feel
meanwhile im just pointing to real life political circumstances never changing due to a song. and some facts of drake upbringing connection to blackness having to work hard and sacrifice but go off.

“paying for rap s***” brother he was funding a hobby
you know how much money you gotta have lying around to really invest in a music career like that?
“paying for rap s***” brother he was funding a hobby
yes what i said spending money on music while spending money on these other things like a normal person like i imagine kenny and cole did. sacrifice time money same as everyone else.
Tbh he should have stuck to the phonte angle and remained a rappers rapper.
The hard image never looked right even when it sounded real good.

lmao so working hard and sacrificing is exclusive only to the black community? Is that why white teens are making Tik Toks to all his dance bait tracks?
its got nothing to do with mind reading, its just pretty obvious that Kendrick is making the music that has defined hip hop since its inception while Drake just hopping on popular hip hop trends when it benefits him, like when he started working with all the Atlanta rappers and started acting like a mob boss after years of being known as a simp
Mans could have avoided so much trouble if he just stayed in his melodic Canadian lover boy bag I mean he would still have the character problems of being weird about girls but main point is his opps would have had less ammunition to gun him down
What is the “street facade” you’re referring to, or what era?
