I response to the thread title: Nicki one of the hardest rappers out periodt when she blew up. Her image and business moves just added to that, just like every other successful rapper during that time. She got there mostly by being one of the best rappers/artist you could find at the time. This is hip hop, everyone was competition not just women. She was just that good
