tenet on hbo max when
based on their typical schedule and when warner films end up on HBO, i was assuming it was coming in 3-4 months or so anyways. Who knows with this now but they'll prob let the blu ray release flourish first
I really hope I can go back to movie theaters by early summer. I have to see Space Jam 2 faded on edibles on the big screen.
At this pace, seems like the only theatres that’ll be left standing in some years are your local indie arthouse ones..
hbo stays winning
Friendly reminder that I get hbo max for free
lemme hold that big bro
I am so weak @ Christopher Nolan thinking he was saving theatres but just ended up killing them even more
it's a "one year deal" until it proves to be a huge success lol
we'll see what happens tho, i'm optimistic for theatres going forward
Isn’t Warner bros getting less money this way tho?
Dang
once theaters open up full time again they bout to bump up them prices huh
Man its insane lol,i love the theather experience but going regularly is crazy for me.
Gonna watch the big titles on there, and these smaller movies at home.
Hopefully gonna invest in the future into a home theather
So much for Tenet saving theaters
The Nolan fanboys that said that s*** lookin so goofy rn

They can't recoup losses doing this for each film long term
Don't think this is something they genuinely wanted to do but 2021 not looking that much brighter in terms of box office so they gave up to just focus on building their service while enjoying whatever is left of theaters rn
Like you can't consistently drop what would have been potential billion dollar films on a streamer. The only way that kinda works is whay D+ did with Mulan but that was not a great strategy for subs who already were paying monthly

tbf the pandemic literally got much worse than it was during lockdowns.
The idea was his film leading the way as other films would come as well but theaters have barely had films to show. And every other big film that as set for release originally around Tenet moved their dates
NYC and LA never reopened and those are the biggest markets. Whole s*** is done until 2022 at best
I prefer watching from home tbh but idk if this is good for movie business. Maybe will go back to using practical effects instead of cgi
