Yea like a lot of kids who grew up in NY back then. His hits were always recognizable but he just wasn't part of that generation.

I mean Kai was like 11 at Wale's peak, and he really ain't into music like that. I think some of these guys see Kai as The talk show host of this generation (he's not). Maybe when he first started doing the rap guest streams you could say that but it doesn't carry that weight anymore.
