that song is a post-hip hop masterpiece. I really love it and think it has a ton of really introspective undertones. I try to view it as "hey the lq version being the only thing that exists makes the allure of it that much more endearing", but wonder how the message of that song would be further fleshed out in an album or aesthetic context

I agree in a way - I think it’s a little lame to return from a hiatus w something that excludes your core fan base based on price - I talked about this yesterday a bunch w @innuendo

But I understand that he wants to break into high fashion and that low price pieces dilute the ability to do that

Irrelevant point. Kanye didn’t at any point think his LOUIS F***ING VUITTON pieces were going to be “affordable”, nor APC or any of his other high end collabs and if you think otherwise you’re being willfully ignorant lol. He became a billionaire by making his clothing affordable. Frank may potentially reach that by making them unaffordable. What’s the issue?

Throwing a sweetener to show that you actually care about EVERYONE no matter the size of their bank account would've been great and just seems like little details FO never truly cared about (which seems honestly lame to me) even if he has one of the most devoted fanbase

This man literally funded his venture off of money he received from fans who purchased expensive merchandise that he still hasn’t shipped It’s so disgusting talking about how you read luxury magazines seeing things you couldn’t afford and talking down on that condition, only to open a firm that literally pursues the same business point of artificial pricing. You couldn’t even address the trouble you’ve caused your fan base but instead talk about how you only don’t own a yacht because you get seasick.

There’s absolutely no regard for the people who came and gave you this platform of acclaim

It’s like there’s a level of greed being satiated in this business move and not an artistic desire. The pieces aren’t even anything worth writing home about and are a total derivative of KAWS and Murikami and Nigo’s work
