    Dominican pride is his core. Nearly everything comes back to the island: "What's up with Dominican Hate / Im just an island boy." "Going back to my Dominican roots / Im a Honda boy again." He posts history facts ("First Non native NYC resident ever was Dominican / Fun fact"), keeps cultural watch ("Corridos have infiltrated Dominican barbershops / I repeat / Corridos have infiltrated Dominican barbershops"), and defends the island's honor ("Only people ive ever seen say negative s*** bout DR are racist ass Colombians and the like"). In the old pages he mourned having nobody to talk bachata with. He'd even tagged the OP when a Dominican legend died, and got nothing back.

    He's part of the thread's Latin music crew. ET routinely tags the same group when a Latin track comes on ("Cosa nuestra?"): Purrp, HNDRXX, rvi, bmass, Echi, and Kobe. When rvi wanted a starter list of Dominican artists, Kobe was who he asked. His origin story: "I was 8 years old dancing my little butt off to Reggaeton."

    He's the "all-time favorite song" guy. The old pages are full of him presenting records like exhibits: "one of my all time favorite Cam songs," "My favorite shake song of all time," "Might be my favorite NY drill song of all time. Simpler times." His taste is New York and New Jersey, and it's personal. On 070 Shake: "she's from the town over from where im from. Some of my homies were in her early early music videos." He also has takes: "My way home is a s***ty Common song in the midst of a classic album / Worst song on LR by a mile." That one would start a fight in most rooms.

    His humor is self-aware and low-key. "Bumping rod wave because I'm fat." "I text while I work." And, on parenting: "If I had kids rn, I'd play classic Ye all day and just tell them that Kanye is dead." His girlfriend shows up occasionally, mostly to call him gay for something he did.

    His circle: HNDRXX, bmass, Kodak, Camille, and ET are who he talks to most. bmass once put him on a list of "least favorite users," and then went on to reply to him more than anyone else did this year. His posts land well: about 0.9 likes per post, better than most of the big names.

    In short: KobeToTha is the thread's Dominican ambassador and resident crate-digger. He's proud, funny about himself, and always ready with a classic you should've heard already.
