But with how things have been heating up this year, I can’t imagine we’ll get access to much more than this as private citizens

I’ve been thinking that we may not even have access to models like Astra / Opus 5.5, or at least not them in their current state. Either a series of sequential silent nerfs in the background, or making them so cost prohibitive that a regular person can’t realistically use it anymore

They definitely do not have this s*** under proper control or restrictions/ regulation

There’s really zero incentive for most artists not to just have AI generate songs that they then re-record.
