Hey man different strokes but TLOP just has that feeling to me. Only song that could be a throwaway is Highlights and that's still ok. Donda has a bunch of trash on there
At least he hasn’t totally forgotten that he should be working on an album yet
This is honestly a great sign
I know the tentative date is in early may but I gave up hope after that last set of LPs
If you haven’t changed slide and everybody verses I truly don’t know if I want them anymore man
it's true I'm afraid, how could you ever hope to touch a masterpiece like Real Friends
oncw in a lifetime classic song
I'm a Donda defender but s*** doesn't come close to TLOP still.
Like imo TLOP is the last classic Ye album, Donda has some of his best songs but I would never call it a classic
Depends what defines a classic to you. Classic is an very overused word on the internet

Slide is perfect
Slide is perfect
I just need it at this point though it’s like 6 months late and was basically completed then
Kendrick really inspired him to get back in the booth
Tonight
Hunnna wunna Kendrick Lamma

felt more like an event when tlop released than the last couple albums. even with the listening parties, tlops msg party felt way more like the broader general culture as a whole stopped to take notice. his releases now are practically a niche interest. i know tons of people who haven’t even heard vultures

Very true, tbh my own definition of classic isn't very clear. I just feel like in 20 years I can see ppl playing TLOP (at least FSMH) but there's just no way Donda has that kind of staying power.
Kind of a bad argument now that I'm saying it but the fact is I know people who aren't really Kanye fans that still spin TLOP and remember the release but never even played Donda after a first listen (if that). I guess it might be more of a statement of Kanye's position in the mainstream idk
