    Also stagnant wages make a $20 album today more expensive than a $10-$13.99 album a decade ago so I understand that side of it

    To me the problem is not that musicians should make lots and lots of money compared to regular people, everyone should be able to live comfortably and express themselves the way they want to through music, design, whatever!

    Ads and marketing feeding over-consumption needs to stop

    Kanye is talking about $20 for a digital download. For $20 you used to have the whole CD with a booklet foh there's a huge difference between respecting an artist and allowing him to scam your ass.

    $9.99 is reasonable for digital downloads I still have my old itunes account
