Me through most of the Korea listening party so far:

He also introduced the look after saying nothing the whole week amidst rumors of being a brain damaged nitrous addict and people were falling for the zombie like hunchback thing he was doing as if it were evidence. Pretty brilliant.

Nah he really had the nitrus hooked up on his back

    remember the shambles on ktt?

I joined ktt during the V1 rollout (please don't tease me)

But seeing how dramatic people on here tend to be, I wish I could've witnessed it

I remember trying to defend the I Love It performance to friends/family and getting relentlessly dunked on

    Why did you choose KTT

As silly as it sounds, I learned about KTT through Brockhampton, how they all met on KTT1, and would talk about it in interviews.

I stick around because I like the format and the ability to chat in real time during live events. I don't know if there're any other similar websites, and tbh, I'm an internet normie, so once I find a site I like, I stick to it.

I tried to have music discussions on reddit, but every music community felt like an echo-chamber, and people would share the coldest takes possible to get upvotes.

Im sure there are discord servers that have a similar vibe to KTT2, but discord feels too intimate. I like the anonymity of KTT2, and no one in my social circles irl is into in-depth Kanye discussions, so this is a dope outlet to connect on a shared interest with others.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys

That’s cool af. Kevin has come on here a few times. He was positing in the Donda 1 thread when that was going down.

    KTT feels very unique.
    Old school, but still modern.

Reddit feels too big and it’s hard to make friends there I feel like. Like you just see a username really and there’s 100K members in r/GAS. It kinda sucks.

Discord is just too closed off, private, and it’s Discord lol. Don’t like how it’s set up

    Welcome though

Been here since 2011 to talk about Odd Future, didn’t even like Kanye at the time lol. Not until Yeezus anyway. It’s been fun

  • Aug 24, 2024

Gatekeeping and closed-off communities are not inherently bad, I hope in 2024 onward people get over the idea that everything must be accessible

I hate current internet in that sense where there is no literal and functional privacy

KTT still offers that even if KTT2 is more public

That's wild! Kevin seems down to earth. That raised on the internet outsider vibe is what really got me into BH's early stuff.

You're right KTT is a good mix. Simple layout, but updated enough so I don't feel like I'm on the deep web.
    cough 4chan cough

Even small reddit communities, will blow up within a month. I remember just 9 months ago r/GAS having like 15k members.

    2011, respect OG

Those early OF days were something else! My little brother is 14 and he always tells me the OF era was the only music trend he wishes he got to witness. We're fortunate we got to live through it, and I'm sure KTT was poppin' back then.

Happy to be here during such a strange Ye era though

  • just listened to river and forever again. i’m replenished
