Imagine being so p**** the risks OTHER niggas take still make you nervous

I get both arguments but he won’t touch half of the sales he did with V1 if he does this. He can’t even get the same audience he did for listening parties these days. People don’t buy albums like they used to and Ye of all people will not change that

Yea like if Taylor or Drake did this, a somewhat shift would really happen. No shot at Ye, it just is what it is. Even then, people would just go back to streaming and listen to illegal version on YouTube cause it’s too engrained in society man

It’s funny how everyone was tryna guilt trip people into buying the stem player like “yall don’t got $200? It’s only a work day” and that s*** ended up flopping

Stem player only flopped cuz the company distanced themselves from him, honestly has anyone ever listened to that new Ghostface album that dropped on stem player???

And I’ve told you 10 times I don’t give a s*** about billboard, hits, “the masses”

How many people get to hear music has never mattered to me

Music is more accessible than ever and the masses still listen to GARBAGE

kanye said 'can we get a million people to buy the album' so quite literally hes worried about sales and money

and the peole are saying "no the f*** that will not happen"

lol im done with debating you tho

hope one day he goes back to make dope ass physicals/packaging that make me want to support and put out on display

I really feel like there is some solution out there that’s both convenient to the consumer and pays the artist that nobody has thought of yet.

Music dropping a triple album with multiple listening parties dropping on streaming after being entirely blackballed isn’t a risk ?

That’s not a risk either. Him choosing to not drop on streaming rn would be a bigger risk for him than that. Imo if he was to do that I’d rather he do it for the next volume instead of this one since it’s so sudden.

Hahaha yes I get the perspective and something needs to change about streaming platforms, but I don’t think doing it the iTunes way is the best solutiom
