Like, hypothetically, Billy Corgan sucks now. But what if he ai’d the Billy Corgan 90’s voice filter over his own vocal take. What if it was better? What would you prefer? Is it the fact that it’s obviously a Ty Dolla vocal?
Just curious how everyone’s feeling because this is like one of the few instances of ai usage I could excuse ethically and artistically. If you’re using it because you’ve lost it, I guess that’s okay but it for sure takes you out of pure artist contender (which he lost forever ago)
I think it can be taken as a f***-you artistic choice in response to the leak culture that surrounds him like vultures given the fact that it's on Sky City and due to the fact that people want him to rap things like that but he has very little interest in doing so.
