What if I start off the track, hum the beginnin’
F*** up the middle part, and mumble the endin’?
I went back and skimmed through Ye because that's the point I feel that his career truly shifted.
The tracks on this album reflect what he was at the time. A new-ish father, arguing with his wife, making up with his wife, mental health struggles etc. It was very thematically cohesive and the only song about s***was All Mine. I don't have an issue with songs about s***but it feels like a filler topic. Ye sounded like the thoughts of a family man who also happens to be rich and famous, struggling with mental health in the public eye. Which is a noble battle and I can see the value in sharing that experience.
This current Kanye has no interest in making these complete concepts anymore and obviously that's his right, but I'm ready to admit I'm no longer a fan.
This is clearly the new low bar if we even have to argue it day one and it's being considered
Come on guys
JIK he at least tried even made a whole movie to it
This album is comparable to Donda 2, he only dropped cause the tracks leaked
This is bad bad
Yea bro is finished. It’s ok. At this point just retire bro and work on fashion. Ty$ seems like he isn’t adding much to these songs
Yall act like this 09/11
me finding out kanye was spending the time in-between goon sessions telling unpaid interns to write in prompts for an ai verse

River was near perfect already man
don’t like these changes
Not everything has to be a concept album
These songs are fire
Jesus is King is still easily his worst album.

There are good songs on here I don’t compare vultures 1 and 2 to other albums because they are random assortment of songs with some highs and lows
No concept

Yall got me agreeing with my brother wins
Last time he did a clear message was Donda and yall still don’t get it
Been saying it should've been retirement after LP2 and let him add Come to Life, BWIS, and his Off the Grid verse
No LP3 or anything after and you have the most immaculate ending to Kanyes career possible at this point

Don't forget 10/10 classic KSG came out at the same time
I agree though that was the shifting point. Everything since hasn't had the same quality except Donda. Donda to me is his best work since Pablo

Nobody wins but you
