I think there are two forms of music where Drake can cook up pretty easily with minimal assistance.

Straight Rap & Straight R&B. His pen on these records are like, certified.

He probably just summons collaboration and assistance when he's looking to fill verses/songs/features with current songs that, probably won't end up on his greatest hits but help keep the trains moving for the next 6 to 12 months.

His ambition to be modern and present every year is why these things exist IMO

I think if there is a criticism, it's that the aforementioned is a big part of his legacy. The prolific hitmaker and if you've ever wrote a song before, you know how easy it would be to make a mob ties if every time you show up to the studio, you have vory/pnd/weeknd/qm records in the email ready to use at your disposal.
