Is dude's producer name The 25th Hr or XXVHR? The only thing I can see he goes by XXVHR is his Insta name but he seems to be credited / referred to everywhere else as The 25th Hr. Asking for tagging purposes in my iTunes library
Ehh I guess it’s the same thing essentially since XXV is 25 in roman numerals. It could be either one and I’m sure he doesn’t mind. he’s seen this thread anyways so he would’ve said to change it if he cared
But “The 25th Hour” is his placement name so I’ll change the thread in music sxn to that. OP of this thread can change it too
Imagine if it had never leaked and made the album... Drake sxn would’ve collectively shed a tear when we realized it was Grave
It’s missed moments like these that really make me think about how detrimental leaks can be for both fans and artists
Don’t know if you saw my post but the producer said the version that leaked is a newer version of the song so there’s still a possibility
It wasn’t like they made the song then it got vaulted, they made the song then Drake went and worked on it more later
However since it leaked now that might have an impact on if Drake decides to put it on the album. I hope he still does, it’s too good to be left off a project. It’s uploaded on his official Youtube page now so who knows

This is what it would sound like if Drake made To Pimp a Butterfly. That extra 50% blackness goes a long way...

drake would never release an album that people listen to for a few weeks then never go back to

It’s a Youtube Artist page which isn’t the same as a Youtube Channel

yes, but imo s80 and gkmc is the closest he's gotten to releasing an album with replay value

That’s an interesting perspective. I generally like artist’s first few projects the most. After that, they usually either repeat themselves or they change it up and it’s not as good. I think 0-100 is Drake’s best song. Started from the Bottom. Energy. I think he’s past his peak, songwriting-wise, no? What’d you think of Damn?

Man DAMN has crazy replay value
Man DAMN has crazy replay value
A few songs on DAMN do, half of them don't - and DAMN was way better than TPAB at that aspect. TPAB has to be one of the worst ever great albums when it comes to relisten-value. S*** dropped off the charts pretty quick in comparison to GKMC or DAMN which goes to show you despite what people love to claim no one listening to it like that.
I don't think Kenny has an ear for music the same way Drake does. Drake mostly cares about making dope music you want to live to.
Kendrick gets too pseudo intellectual and pushes tropes over enjoyable music.
This in the top 3 most creative Drake songs of all time
From the production to the flow to sample
Only Days In The East and Now & Forever compete creatively imo
