derek jarman's film blue, which is literally just a single blue screen in a specific shade of international klein blue plus narration over it for 1.25 hrs was a vastly more engaging watch

i went home to read the lore on wikipedia and gave up bc i realized i just do not care at all. i have nary a clue still what the film actually was about or who xyz character is
