its really not though, -14 dbfs is supposed to be the standard for a clean dynamic range and -8 or 7 is already pushing it
like if you listen to life is good by drake its like -6 and sounds distorted af vs laugh now cry later which is -9 you hear a massive difference in how good the mix sounds
at this point its about pulling off the loud s***ty distorted sound tastefully i guess
Yeah I loved that project
Vol 3 might be better
every song has been great
Wait she dropped her new s***?
this s*** weak as f***. Im hoping hes just prepping up for another project cuz this was the most mid s*** ive heard him put out. no song stuck out at all, just generic 2010's pop trap

Tap in with that new @NeonBuddy tonight yall fr
Borrowed time out everywhere!
in my opinion, this is vince's worst album yet. it's been a downward spiral since summertime 06, if you ask me. every project is getting lazier and lazier. short, repetitive songs, and he sounds bored and unbothered whenever he actually raps. just disappointing.
I feel this album will be on of those you can always play from front to back. Its like those section 80, Cilvia Demo type of album without the ambition. Just laid back and a great vibe to listen to on repeat. Like after playing the album i just want to play it again. Not really thinking about lycris or subject matter. Just vibing to his flow and the great Beats. Just some good music

section 80 and cilvia demo have WAY more variety, though

Well this album has some diversity but it's not really that ambitious like those album. Well you can call it lazy but i like it. I just feel the replay value and vibe of those albums on this.

i'm interested to see how people will feel about this album in, like, a year or so. i've seen the phrase "replay value" thrown around quite a bit in this thread, which i think is because this project is so easy to listen to. however, it wouldn't surprise me if the laziness and lack of depth actually destroys the replay value a few months from now. section 80 has songs like keisha's song and cilvia demo has songs like heavenly father - moments that create true depth in the album, and will keep listeners feeling something for years, ya know what i mean? vince talks about real s*** on this album as well, but he just does it in such a boring, lifeless, effortless way
