    I meant more with the vocal effects, and James Blake was definitely doing it before both those guys. Law Of Averages is another example that clearly isn't inspired by Drake or Ye

    I see what you’re saying but ye has definitely utilized those types of effects before too

    Wolves, I thought about killing you, true love, violent crimes etc

    Drake in champaign poetry, pound cake etc

    The bassey production palette with different vocal pitch samples is something theyve both rapped on

    With that said Vince definitely approaches that style with a fresh west coast, and gritty feel in a way none of them did
