This is exactly where I’m with it

I’ll probably revisit it a lil more than S/T which slightly grew on me over time. Was running that album over the summer here and there. Still an ok album to me. It was one of his more cohesive projects but nothing stuck with me like that

This new one is cool though, see the direction and I’m not mad at it

What sets it apart from S06 and BFT is that it’s a really smooth listen, and it doesn’t have a No ID producing it entirely for two discs or weird electronic type beats (no knock to BFT I’m just saying it was an experiment), it’s just clean west coast music. And I personally feel his lax delivery is perfect for the vibe of the album. It’s still just as cohesive as those other two albums. If I had to run back a Vince album multiple times it’s def gonna be this one

NAMELESS into WHEN SPARKS FLY

I totally get where Vince is musically right now,he doesn’t wanna be another obscure guy on some rap heads underrated list. This album is still him,just not as interesting or daring imo. I think he wants to hear his music in real life,being praised by real people vs internet rap head approval and I can’t blame him.

There’s more money,more fame and more recognition that comes with making your music more commercial but at the same time,you alienate those fans that heard better from you and didn’t look for you to make that type of rap. Anyways,RPBMH Will maybe get some occasional spins from me but after listening to it,I just don’t have the same interest for it before I listened to it.
