Yeah, I get the flow criticism - I personally like how is voices falls into the pockets around the beats. It’s almost like the monotone delivery is part of the atmospheric production and works as an instrument itself.

Vince’s albums sound expensive if that makes sense. Sonically, none of his albums sound cheap.

I think the issue is people need instant gratification. If they can’t play it in the club or house party immediately it’s considered weak.

But if they actually listen (Keyword listen) to the music, the lyrics, production, vocals they would appreciate it more.

I feel ya. Repetition is hard to avoid in music. People find a formula and stick with it.

That’s been my biggest criticism of some artists (like YB for example). I think it’s noticeable for YB because he drops too much music.

I think the difference with Vince is beside his vocals every album sounds different sonically and he experiments a lot with his production while making it sound familiar and like a Vince project.

Free the homies is an example of a great hook that he wouldn't have done in the past
