Honestly what threads would fill the void? You're asking for a bunch of stuff to be removed. So more active moderation- if you're lucky.

Add thread tags so I can actually find s*** like 1) a tag for introducing artists 2) a tag for new singles 3) a tag for new albums etc. Then there might be some incentive to actually make threads centered around the music and not ones centered around tweets. That's all user managed too.
