so when you’ve been following an artist that long, you have an emotional stake in his music. and his music has been beyond incredible for years and he’s always evolving but still keeping that raw rapping vibe. so when he drops an album full of skits and him just singing over beats that all sound the same, it’s rough and unexpected. as I said before, it feels like when Wayne dropped Rebirth. and then his new song sounds so commercial it’s a letdown because of the crazy incredibly creative music he’s dropped before. it sounds like it was curated by label executives, and that ain’t Vince.
