I don’t think is mandatory for you to know how to rap to be a rap critic. You don’t. BUT, I do listen to critics that can rap more intently that I know have rap skills

still you are reviewing the bands on the track too. same as some of the bully reviews giving it bad scores while focusing on ye. There are entire bands and other people that worked on the album TOO. review each element of it. If an album gets a bad score because you dont like what the main artist is saying in interviews or vocal performance but the band is great mention that and account that in the score of the album which many reviewers dont break that down

I dont listen to each and every taylor swift album its okay to recongnize not everything is catered to your taste
