Carols established goal is to cure the hive. The hive does not want that and have done everything (within their nature) to stop Carol. And successfully derailed her too.

If the bank robbers are the protagonist then the cops are the antagonist; and vise versa. Not the random news reporter who isn’t really affecting the story much.

I meant as far as singular characters go it would have to be a non-Other teaming up with the Others to further their goals. None of the Others can be the primary antagonist because they are essentially all one character
