Forcing identity politics in art for the sake of diversity is just super cringe
But I do 100% believe that movies and shows are way better about this s*** today than they were 10 years ago

Man I’m done discussing with you . Cause I’m not arguing for it . I’m saying what made it such a meaningful episode and you using the word rape in every single post that you can as if I’m pro rape for knowing from very early on they would eventually have romantic contact . I said so even before this episode and how logistically weird it is / would be but it was inevitable. Now how they address it going forward , the hive using her body , is zoisia straight , does she have free will and many questions are good questions to ask . When people are discussing 8 hours of television and you just keep saying “rape” I’m not objecting to what you are saying . I’m saying I don’t know Vince plan on how he will address the lack of consent or if Carol is a monster

An example of where I felt it didn’t work was Killers of the Flower Moon. I think a Native American filmmaker should’ve been the one to tackle the story from that lens, not Scorsese

Yeah I watched all of S2 over the weekend. First 9 episodes were incredible, 7 was my favorite of that stretch, then it definitely dragged all the way up until like Episode 18, but I didn’t mind it too much because I enjoy the characters and spending time in that world. The Nadine s*** was stupid as f*** though
