On “Pluribus,” Seehorn is Carol, “the most miserable person on Earth” who “must save the world from happiness.” Details about the plot of the show are scant.

Vince with another villain protagonist?
“The world changes very abruptly in the first episode, and then it is quite different. It’s the modern world — the world we live in — but it changes very abruptly,” he added. “And the consequences that that reaps hopefully provide drama for many, many episodes after that.”

Saw this a few days ago, and definitely can’t see how it’s not this, sounds way too similar (especially with the promo pic that says “happiness is contagious”)
Surprising that they haven’t announced it though, I feel like when there’s a book adaptation they usually don’t keep it secret, since it will help book sales if it’s announced

This guy
-wrote the story for Double Dragon before Peter Gould took it on and turned it into a screenplay.
-worked on a bunch of X-Files novelizations, one being an episode that Vince wrote.
So the Gilligan-Gould connection definitely makes this possible lol

I’m READY
Maybe they just both liked the idea and decided to do very different things with it
Pretty cool tbh

Isn't that similar to Clarke and Kubrick with 2001? Would be cool to see something like that here
