Her and her wife were at that igloo vacation or whatever and while the wife was soaking it all in and raving about what a unique adventure is downer ass carol was just moping around like a wet blanket whining and complaining
yeah i would complain too if I had to stay in a hotel fully made of ice, wtf
Gotta wait till Big ‘Wise shows up for the show to pop off. Highs are extremely high tho
Bet I’ll binge the rest of the episodes this weekend

I would literally be so pissed
caught up on last 2 episodes. I love this show so much man. I’m going to be so upset when the season is over
It only took a month for her to accept dying and give up.
Give me a dog and I could make it 6 months easily. Its not like she needs anything but companionship
I am one of those people who started comparing about how the show id slow and nothing is happening but I do like how its exposing everyone and the depth of showing how we all need human interaction in our lives and we can’t do it alone. Even if we have everything we ever wanted we still crave drama ex: that poker skit ep 5
Tbf; that dude is living his ultimate fantasy. Id probably be the same way.
Carol's just a miserable b****. Even when she had her wife she was still mopey about everything.
How y’all think Season 1 ends?
No clue and that’s why I love Vince
Of course maniosa is gonna finally get to her when she's fully come around to the others and doesn't care anymore
I think this is going to be Leftovers-esque (GOAT show)
I feel like the big twist will be that there is no twist
I wouldn't say that. There's a way to reverse the process clearly. So at the very least theres something that can happen.
The show will become real boring real quick if every episode is just do what you want and bye. Carol and the other guy wanting to stop it is the only real drama there can be
It leaves potential for alot of really fun episodes but theres only so many times they can indulge in it. And for a writer, Carol is LITERALLY the most unimaginative person on the planet. Her fantasy is going to a museum and f***ing gardening.
Other dude is full James bond. Lets just watch him for awhile.

Based on how it’s played out so far, I think the drama will come in them coming to terms with everything and finding ways to accept it, and potentially even working with them Hive to solve the starvation problem.
I don’t think the big conflict of this show is going to be “how do we reverse this virus”, every time it seems to be headed in that direction in the first 7 episodes it quickly gets shut down

Better to suffer with the one you love than alone

Not comparing to leftovers for me . I am enjoying though
With how lonely she was getting, I am surprised she didn’t just call the number & ask for a dog or cat to keep her company. Clearly, animals are still alive there, could’ve kept her company lol. And, they don’t talk, so wouldn’t even have to be reminded of alien aspect
Lmfao this why she howled at the wolves
I think even if there is a way to reverse there will be some permanent of effects of the process and of continuously having human derived protein possibly cannibalism due to lack of food and livestock not being enough to mass breed

Thats because it's season 1 and the only 2 people on Earth who want to accomplish that goal haven't met yet.
The starvation problem is a matter of common sense. Eat the f***ing plants. Theyre okay with feeding infected food to billions of people and killing them but not eating carrots? Nigga get the f*** out of my face with that Vince. Now i need your consent. But noteveryone else on the planet. Very f***ing dumb line to draw in the sand tbh. I know theres gotta be something better to it. Way too smart of a writer for it to be some bullshit like lets find a way to make artificial meat
What can Carol even do? She has zero skills, with engineering, with science, with people in general. She would've died if it wasnt for the others. And the other guy is resourceful but is so stubborn he nearly died in a random jungle trap.
Vince has already given us the string.
Its the frequency. He figured it out in the radio. And even the title card alludes to it.
F*** man
Also. Are the aliens f***ing each other? Because if not theres no more people and everyone dies anyway.

I hear you
With what they’ve shown so far though, I feel like “the Hive is secretly evil all along” type twist would be extremely cliche and against everything the show has told us so far. I just can’t see it going down that road

I agree with you on that. I actually dont believe the hive is evil. If they were this show would've been over in an episode. They gonna kill the last 12 people with kindness?
I think theres more twists to come but the hive has to be actually nice and theyve already established they can't lie. Its the only way this concept can work as a long-form TV show
Also there was like 35 days timejump to that last thing u mentioned
35 day time skip, it's possible Manousos has recovered, made it to Carol, had a disagreement and left, pushing her mental health to the edge and reaching out to the hive.
Probably not the case though. So curious to know what's happened to him after the chopper
