Not my favorite Drake album but it captures him as an artist so well. I think this really was the Thriller of it's era. Every hit aged like wine and the rest of the songs still achieved some notoriety despite most not being singles. It's insane Drake has 3 albums in the decade defining discussion it's either this, Take Care or Scorpion. This album has the rollout over the other two tho, it literally felt like a movie, TDKR or Endgame tier hype. Still unmatched by any artist to this day

Coming off IYRTITL & WATTBA I wasn't the biggest fan of this album when it came out, but holy has it grown on me since then. This album is pure nostalgia.

i remember getting ready to listen to the album for the first time and seeing the intro track keep the family close its name and the track length - i thought it was going to be a hard hitting fast paced rappity rap type intro - boy was I wrong
