'They' might be white people or people who might not be 'black' because some people kept thinking or showing that and Kendrick was talking about race and saying that drake is a 'colonizer' and that he can't say some things
And some people were saying Drake is 'white'

And why do you say I'm mad?

America is a continent and I feel like y’all subconsciously don’t get it yet.

Both statements can be true btw. You can comment on something you seen happen to an artist that has similarities with what an event turned out to be and not be directly referencing that particular event. Then again, the media itself picks and chooses when he’s black.

If he would be celebrated as black excellence we know what it would mean to a lot of people in that group but seems to be like they don’t wanna get humble like that so the narrative takes course time and time again… Drake, you ain’t black enough.

And just to close, I wish the USA wasn’t so fixated on race. There’s more to life. Like skill sets, mentality, discipline, ambition. Regardless of how you look.

Kendrick picked and chose when it was convenient for him to accept Drake as black enough: going on Tour with him, recording multiple tracks… but when it came time to attack him, he used race as a tool to tear down another black man

Media been doing the same thing, Elliot riding Drake’s d*** for almost a whole decade and then switching his narrative when it didn’t align with what he wants. Charlemagne being a hater, receiving some bottles and then it’s love and peace but once the booze fades homie went back to hate.
