His minimalistic/succinct rap style has been very influential, lyrical without being too wordy/ verbose each bar but also not overly coded/sometimes hard to decipher in the way that Earl/Mach/BillyKanye, Pharrell, Cole, Rihanna & others are all beneficiaries of his success
Eminem probably deserves to be on the top 10 even if a lot of his influential is on wack rappers & white rappers who aren't really students of the game
