Uzi isn’t really a singles artist any more. So, if we had waited 2.5 years just for another single to come first after the very lukewarm Demon High, I think it’d have stirred pretty negative reception.

Plus, clearly the Pink Tape has evolved so much since it was first announced. And there are a handful of super popular snippets that likely were at one point part of the tracklist, but its evolved so much that they probably no longer fit the theme/sound of the album – So dropping an EP like this I guess allows him to offload some anticipated songs as well as generate more hype

Had a mixtape everyone loved. Then dropped EP after EP til he fell off.

I guess we’ll see how this goes.
