Yes, Rodeo the album had 7 pop up shows. Travis called them pop up shows. Days before rodeo and owl pharoah were the rodeo tour. Two entirely separate events lol

To me 7 “pop up shows” seems like a small tour. People are used to seeing tours being 20-30 shows. Pop up shows to me sound last minute and there is 1 or 2 shows. But what do I know that’s just me and what I think.

    Alright I’m up now.

The show overall was fun. Visually Travis put on a good show and there was something interesting to look at for almost every song.

The crowd was mixed. When he tapped back into Days Before and a couple of the “deep” cuts there wasn’t much reaction. But then they went crazy for stuff like Fe!n (which he did twice), I Know (which he restarted to hear the crowd sing the hook again), Meltdown (whole crowd knew Drakes verse), Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, you know the biggest ones.

His energy was there for sure and when he brought out Teezo for Modern Jam that was really cool.

Side note on Teezo - his opening set was short but sweet. I missed about 1/3 of it because I was in line getting drinks when he started but I was there for most of it. I liked how when he went to do his collabs he told stories behind them. Like when he did Run it Up he told a story about touring with Tyler. For his part on 7969 he had a little thing about making that interlude last week for Drake. Cool stuff like that. Vocally Teezo is legit no studio magic there.

The setlist was cool but there are some songs I wish he did like Stargazing, 5% Tint, Can’t Say (wouldn’t work without Don so I get it), Maria, I’m Drunk, but it was decent nonetheless.

For this being my 5th time seeing Travis it was pretty good but I feel like I would’ve had a better time in the pit. My top 2 Travis shows I’ve been to were the first Astroworld show (Raleigh where he didn’t start til like 11:30pm because the roller coaster wasn’t working), and the Days Before tour with Thug. I was in the pit for both.

I should’ve waited to cop tickets though because mfs in my section got theirs for $60 and I paid double on the day they dropped thinking it was gonna be sold out sold out. I do think the scalpers having to drop the prices so low helped fill out the arena because by the time the show started I was pretty sure it was a legit sell out or at least very close.

it seems like he plays songs all the way through given there’s only 25 songs on the setlist. is that the case?

For the most part, he doesn't let features play if they're not there unless it's good for set up. Like he doesn't play all of Goosebumps because no Kendrick but he lets part of Drake's verse on Meltdown play to get it started and His intro and hook on Sicko Mode. He let some of Ye's part on Praise God play but ends before Keem would come in.

For his solo songs he does the whole thing

I get that but the artist called them pop up shows and it was last minute announcement so I’ll go with that lol

Ticket prices driving me insane. Bought mine for 140 and people buying them for 25 in my section, better seats than mine going for $30 smFh

I don’t think Rodeo ever had a tour, as in a tour that started after Rodeo actually dropped. There were a couple shows at the Fonda and then he joined Rihanna’s tour

He joined The Weeknd’s tour iirc

makes me sad cause it’s the best part
