this is literally not true about Soleimani at all, there was nowhere near unanimous consent for Soleimani in the general public of Iran, nor do average Iranians holistically hate the US

From my time being in Iran and my relatives in the diaspora, I can tell you that even people opposing the government condemn the killing of Soleimani, because they are wary of US intervention in the country and its affairs. Look at what Abbas Kirostami said when he was asked about the regime before he died. Despite their opposition, they’d hate to see the us stepping foot in their territory
