Israel doesn’t like middle eastern countries like Iran and Iraq but get along with the saudis when there’s money involved.

Our government does whatever Israel wants us to and I guess it’s time to invade Iran finally.

At the end of the day soleimani is a religious extremist b****** who shot down his own people for protesting peacefully. All these religious fanatics in charge are cancer, iranian people have been at war with their own government for damn near half a century.

Let's not forget that UK and US were responsible for a coup that brought back a dictator over a nationalist democratically elected prime minister in iran just for some oil money and they even apologized for it years after.

saudi arabia and iran fighting together could happen if they unite under getting the us out of the middle east, but i think sunni-shiite conflict and the us' current relations with saudi arabia outweigh that

israel only joins if that happens because with the us out of the middle east they are in danger

china and russia only if they have something to gain, so they would likely only be suppliers for iran at most

as for their allies, i could see that. but syria and lebanon wouldnt add enough force for the us to call on any of their allies, not that they would join in the first place

if this was china and NK or something i'd agree with you, but Iran isn't in a position where they can just escalate it into full-scale conflict - this isn't to say they won't retaliate and tensions will be made worse, but Iran has numerous domestic issues they've been dealing with, even beyond the recent riots. They have economic security to worry about as well as not being a nuclear state yet to deter conflict. China and Russia might be allied with Iran but they aren't incentivized to intervene in this beyond the economic interest of supplying military equipment or injecting more money into Iran's economy. China is already attempting to descalate the situation by calling for calm (and still is negotiating trade deals with the US), and Russia is condemning the US, but no more than usual - they did when we intervened in Syria as well. Did Russia invading the Ukraine cause WW3 with the US/EU? Middle eastern tensions will get a lot worse but Israel & Saudi Arabia will receive the blunt of force from Iran, not the US, except likely for US bases in Iraq. It's not going to escalate into a full on war, it'll just make regional tensions far worse. Furthermore, I can tell you for a fact that people in the middle east right now are not universally condemning the US for this by any means outside of the Iranian government and the more gov-adherent parts of the Iranian population.Not to say there aren't people pissed at us for this, but the perception of the US doing this is not nearly as universally negative as it's been reported so far.
Believe me, this is not a defense of the US by any means; anyone who knows me knows my positions on the middle east vs the US generally. I'm just saying, while this is obviously a massive escalation, this isn't the equivalent of the start of WW1 or something.
