This is exactly the problem, this is way more complicated than just having Soleimani out of the way. I think none of us have anything against an oppressor being out of the way, but it's the how that is the problem here. It's not like now that Soleimani is gone that suddendly the students, journalists and people wont be oppressed anymore and there won't be any morality police around anymore. In fact it will probably lead to the iranian government cracking down on their people even harder to mobilize hardliners and attacks on public spaces like these give them the justification to do so.
