Miguel missing on the list makes it irrelevant. he's the best male voice of the last decade

also why tf Lana del Rey is here?? she can't sing live at all

She can, she just gets nervous on huge stages and s***. The snl performance will haunt her forever tho

She's a great singer and deserves a spot on here much more than many other contemporary artists (looking at Ariana). She has a rather distinctive style with tons of personality and expressiveness.

Idk I just find a lot of her style grating but I do agree she has a lot of personality, just comes off kinda one note to me

How many lines did he have in Shameless? The seasons I saw he barely even talked

Being a "good" singer is beside the point for alot of rock and roll whereas alot of the r&b singers have been training since childhood so yeah true

I'm not giving Rolling Stone any ad revenue from this list I'm glad I didn't click that link

My most unruly take is that Jarvis Cocker should be very low somewhere on here, if Lou Reed's on here, a guy who had a great discography but a 1-inch range, I think another speak-singer who could actually belt it out when he needed to deserves a place, Liam Gallagher too, but again, low

    this is major facts

Really great singers of last decade like Miguel (!), Bruno Mars and Sam Smith aren't in the list but Taylor Swift, Lana del Rey and SZA are.

MJ is a top tier vocalist, 4 octave range.

It’s not up for debate. They are pathetic & the agenda is so obvious.

She's good but not 80 spots higher than MJ good that's the problem. If this list is unbiased she's not a top 10 if we're just going by singing

  • Jan 2, 2023

Jackson’s music is “hard to listen to knowing what we know now”

No mention of Lennon the domestic abuser or Elvis’ the underage groomer? Lol.

MJ was the only legacy act last year to have multiple albums sell over 500,000 units. Long after these publications are rotting and forgotten about, MJ and others will still stand tall.

    4 octave range vs 2

You might like how Elvis sounds but factually Jackson had the better, more expansive voice.
