Can someone like just post the list their site barely works
Page 3, 3rd post from the bottom
Sam Cooke being that high up is extremely reasonable, A Change is Gonna Come might be the greatest vocal performance of all time
Lady Gaga one above Howling Wolf????
I like some of the Gaga songs, but she's not someone who you listen to for vocals above all else
uh yeah?
!https://youtu.be/0FT3SmZ_zx0One of the greatest singers ever

Jill sings that ritz out of the building

I respect her because she's so good live. A number of singers on here aren't built like that but she's a natural.
The best vocal performance by anybody ever
For me it's the final two minutes of The Beautiful Ones.
I do that one at karaoke and kill it for the most part but once it gets to the DO YOU WANT HIM? OR DO YOU WANT ME? it gets hard. Like 0.1% of singers can come close to that. The rest of us can only listen and appreciate.

I would've loved to hear Cobain do it tbh cause he could've
that's exactly the electricity I was talking about earlier

There's also the finale of this

Weirdly I watched a compilation of live Gaga performances recently and came away thinking she's way better in-studio, but no disrespect to her, tho she's got some absolute classics and I hope she shows up in more movies

You said Dusty is #2 but is Prince actually your #1?
cause I honestly feel like he runs laps around everyone else
My most unruly take is that Jarvis Cocker should be very low somewhere on here, if Lou Reed's on here, a guy who had a great discography but a 1-inch range, I think another speak-singer who could actually belt it out when he needed to deserves a place, Liam Gallagher too, but again, low
#24 @RVI
Celia cruz at #18
surprisingly real

Too real for Dusty and Brian
For anyone who hasn’t heard anything by Laura Nyro, her voice is f***ing spellbinding. She sang the hell out of everything.

Passionate, explosive, fantastic range. She set the stage for greats like Kate Bush.

I love Jarvis man. Personality and charisma for days.
Where was Mark Hollis on this list??
