why didn't they like harder they fall?
I don't remember but I remember thinking their reasoning sucked
I didn't know this was a vampire movie going in and was shocked by the supernatural elements. lol
Totally from dusk til dawn vibes
holy s***
Thunderbolts is going to surpass it in one weekend
I’m honestly really excited for what the success of Sinners in 70mm means for the future of the format. More movies shot on it! More movies projected with it! More theaters supporting it!
Sinners had 9 theaters in the country doing it, let’s do fifteen or twenty for The Odyssey! Let’s get those reels printed for OBAA
Definitely rewatching
“Before the sun went down, I think that was the best day of my life” hit me right in the feels
I wish Harder They Fall and They Cloned Tyrone got releases like this.

like c'mon now this movie would have made so much money if they gave it a Sinners like promo run and kept it in theaters longer than a week.
The film just weren't that good though unfortunately

It's marvel though, this isn't an anti-feat at all
Yeah so that whole scene with Cornbread killing ol boy -> Bo pulling up like nothings wrong -> Remmick’s offer -> Stack’s plea to Smoke was the highlight of the movie to me

Love how casual they were acting about everything, and all the seductive words to convince them
I didn't hear good things from my friends about They Cloned Tyrone. But they didn't like The Harder They Fall and I did. Should I give it a shot?
They cloned is a good film man

They changed their post but it originally said “This might be the biggest movie of the year”
Wasn’t trying to hate, just being realistic
My homie who is sort of socially traditional/conservative did complain about Christianity being painted in a bad light compared to hoodoo. I basically got a glimpse of what the Christian backlash was about online.
My thought was that all belief systems were criticized to support people's right to choose themselves or what they love at the end of the day.
They been bashing hoodoo and putting Christianity in a positive light for decades

I always thought of it as religion being used as a tool to oppress people is what was wrong with it.
For Annie, it didn’t seem like she was forcing her beliefs on Smoke but atleast gave him the option to think for himself you know?
Movie will start making a profit after this weekend
Never had doubts about this films quality or even strong box office, but i really did think for a while pre-release it was going to struggle to turn profit on WB's end
Coogler had won off his contract regardless. Hope this can move us a bit beyond the dumb angling media has been trying to set up for WB all year
