i don’t really care for horror/zombie type s*** so this wasn’t all the way for me but i can respect it and had a fun time and my friend who went in blind had a great time so that was cool
moral of the story never trust the white man..
Thought it was decent, the twins scenes were good, some strange plot choices towards the end IMO
End credits are cool
Hailee
MBJ def asked for spit reshoots
what happens at the end credits?
Incredible film. Everyone involved deserves a round of applause. That music scene is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen put to film.
One thing I’m confused about is the franchise potential of this that people were talking about. After seeing how this ends, I’m really not seeing how this could be anything more than a self-contained story without any sequels
Once again that midpoint music performance was insane. This is what “musicals” should strive for.
I cannot wait for the world to see that Preacher Boy scene man
honestly that scene coulda easily been so f***ing cheesy crazy that he was able to pull that off

Completely forgot about the sequel rumors. My guess is the other stories would follow Stack and Haliees character? But it feels like that would be a 180 in direction. Idk I think killing Stack was a mistake.

Yeah it's a stunning achievement. One of those scenes you can immediately tell is going to stick with you forever
Damn throughout this movie I had this s*** at a 5/5 and was absolutely loving it. That music performance was f***ing insane.
But then the vampire s*** happened and it started to lose me…I honestly wasn’t feeling that 3rd act at all. Which is a shame because the set up was damn near perfect. So I got it at a 4/5 now which still makes it a damn good film, I just feel the ending got sloppy.
But I haven’t seen this good of a performance from MBJ since Creed 1.
Miles Caton completely killed it, and this his first role? Got damn. Bro was so smooth wit it too…. Nigga said “happily?”
And got damn when Hailee said “oh you not gon steal this p****?”
I think my main issue is I went into this thinking it was gonna be about killing the KKK who are vampires but it wasn’t that. I ain’t really like seeing niggas turn into vampires and having to kill they own. I kinda wish it was full out war against the KKK rather than that small little bit at the end. Stack getting killed took me by a complete surprise, but idk if I liked those turn of events tho
my g..
ngl i’m not into zombie vampire s*** like that so i woulda loved a version of this movie where the bad guys are the italian/irish instead of opium..
Thing I didn’t understand was this tho: why couldn’t the vamps enter without being invited in at first and then they knocked down the big doors and just run in like that?
this too
a llot of s*** didn’t make sense tbh
like why did the blood look like chocolate milk during the last part of the movie
because the Asian lady invited them in
i don’t get it why they had to wait get invited in when they outnumbered them + were desperately trying to kill them so what’s the point in being polite like that

Word I was definitely wondering how this movie would look if he played it more straight forward without the vampire stuff.
Honestly I was loving the slower parts with them just riding round town and getting the party set up.

It’s an old vampire myth that they can’t enter places without being invited in.
Or white women
same s*** bro..
what happens at the end credits?
So looks like there were two “post” credit scenes
In talking about the middle one jump forward where Sammy old
I didn’t see the last one

10000% they set this s*** up like a 1930s gangster flick.
And…and…this s*** takes place on my bday

did they explain this in the movie? or this just some common vampire knowledge?
