The marketing has been… interesting… I feel like I’m being sold a different movie with each trailer and TV spot. No idea what to expect, but maybe that’s a good thing. My tickets are copped.

I wouldn’t consider “this is charming” “wow Rachel is stunning” “Disney magic” and “this might be your favorite live remake” as being anything similar to these reviews.

Those Snow White ones look like they were fishing for any compliment. Cmon now if every Disney live remake sucks how is “this might be your favorite live remake” even a valid compliment lmao?

Yeah of course there will be a few people trying to show love but when it comes attached with a 45% on RT why would you take it serious?

Yeah. I’m just saying. We only get fed (or, people only share) the positives pre RT scores. And they always end up being wrong. So I’m conditioned to not believe any early tweets anymore.

But you’re applying this logic to a director who’s never had a poorly reviewed film. Even just going off of RT, every film is above 80%.
