So they tried turning the album in last summer, UMG knew Drake was drafting some paperwork and said they not releasing anything Kendrick Lamar at that point in time. Clipse said they're not censoring their art, over the months they work a way out of the contract and Roc Nation picks them up. When did they sign with Roc?

There are many subsidiaries of UMG. It’s not one monolithic label. There are hundreds of sub labels under the UMG umbrella.

Drake even claimed in his lawsuit that that there were people that were pro Drake people that got removed.
