I feel like beneath all the statistics, current known facts, and theories, og post still stands:

“aliens” exist and they could be in our solar system or have been here “before”.

I personally think its more incomprehensible than just super advanced flying metal objects observing us. whatever the gov is gonna report is prob just the basic obvious s*** that cant be proven or disproven. Unless they show up wit proof in the documents. Which would be f***ing amazing

But the fact that the gov is disclosing, even if its just lies, leads me to believe that atleast they are beginning to acknowledge the reality of other life. I mean even nasa is on board. They been denying this since they started lol

I guess that's fair. Maybe it's just because I've long since accepted it. Idk. I think I'm more hesitant about the repercussions of other species being involved with us than i am their existence. Their existence is simply just probability. There are more planets and galaxies than we could feasibly count, one of them will have intelligent life.

I think what will happen after their disclosure is something I'm coming to grips with
