Just a quick thought: if aliens are not only proven to exist but fully integrated into our society would our science and education system collapse? It’s believed they’re not only thousands if not millions years more advance but perceive more of the universe than we do. So would we depend on them to solve our medicinal and technological problems? Will education become obsolete?

I dont think so. I mean we have scientists working on the advanced technology already. That is basically confirmed. We already have the material and studying it.

It is perceived to be 50-100 years ahead of what we have now. So it's not completely unthinkable. It's just something we aren't capable of yet. Also, Lue has basically said all of this tech is based around one concept in physics. I'm guessing anti matter or anti gravity or something of that ilk. Yes they are advanced but they aren't so far out of the way that what they do is basically magic.

Humans love to learn, they have always loved to pursue the unknown despite the consequences that befall them. A discovery that will change mankind's understanding of itself will not deter them, but rather inspire them knowing there's more questions to be solved just over the horizon.
