They just recently pushed paperwork to creat a vessel that can move in the water, emerge from it, and then fly off.
Not saying it’s not otherworldly, but it’s very common for the Navy or any military entity to leave 99% of their own sailors in the dark when black book projects are being under taken.
I think the “black book” sector of the Navy is either telling the higher ups to claim ignorance or they are so secretive everyone else in the branch is largely ignorant of what they do.
