Him and Tommy Richman. Thank god for Kendrick and Drake
Like people really try to say Kendrick and Drake beef ruined hip-hop but ignore the s*** tsunami that was right on the horizon
He still makes music, wasn't a plant
Plant or not
Instantly getting Kanye & Drake co-signs when the world knows damn near nothing about you/your music is valid grounds to consider someone a plant

him and his A&R/manager were just very very early to social media micro influencer marketing via TikTok like Yeat and SoundCloud artists did via Twitter. the whole “when the music doesn’t match the video” meme came right on time too
This still the best example of that

pre-beef drake and last gasp of popularity ye too.. pretty massive for a young guy new on the scene
failed to capitalise on them heavy
Personally I think having these big names attached to you that early on is actually harmful to your career. Fans want to follow the journey of their favorite artist in an organic way but he felt connected to the industry from the jump.
I don't think you should do a Drake feature before your second or third project.

I meant that song is amazing

They somehow forgot all the conversations that were happening prior to the battle
