Surprised that there’s no album yet from him this year
Before he cancelled Lolla and Outside Lands I was like 99% convinced he was dropping; especially with all the silence from him and the info pages saying it was coming. It kinda sucks now but it will prolly be another 8-9 months. Imo I would prefer that over him dropping it this late into the year tho.

Maybe role preparation/pre-production was the reason for cancellation of Lolla and Outside Lands. This + an album next year will be really cool

deathcamp buffalo and dark stains all feel like b sides to me. I just wanted to make a cut that was still rough around the ages, but was more cohesive and not completely offputting.
i guarantee if it dropped with this tracklist it would have been received way better.

I liked the songs you picked but I think cherry bombs range is what makes it such a great album
Without that range for better or for worse it just doesnt have enough personality to stand as a great album for me

I liked the songs you picked but I think cherry bombs range is what makes it such a great album

as it stands it's looked down upon because of that range and how all over the place it is, or what tyler referred to as "shifty".
i don't mind the OG tracklist, but if I was advising tyler back then on the best way to have it come out and be palatable, this would be the tracklist.
